Lorri Nelson has been the warm and welcoming presence at Volterra Dental since September 2021, serving as the Office Manager with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Her passion for patient care, combined with her extensive knowledge of dental practice operations, makes her an integral part of the Volterra team.
Originally from the scenic state of Washington, Lorri spent time in Yakima, Lake Quinault, Olympia, and Bellevue before relocating to Manhattan Beach—a move inspired by both sunshine and love. Her journey into dentistry was driven by a deep appreciation for the power of a smile. Blessed with a beautiful one herself, Lorri finds it especially rewarding when patients express a desire to have a smile like hers—and even more fulfilling when the team helps make that happen.
Lorri knew she was in the right profession the moment she realized that even after three decades, she still looked forward to going to work every day. Her genuine love for what she does shines through in every interaction, helping to create a comfortable and positive experience for both patients and team members alike.
Outside of work, Lorri treasures time spent with friends and family, often gathered around a delicious dinner and a nice bottle of wine. She’s a firm believer in savoring life’s simple moments and creating meaningful memories with the people she loves.
Lily is the Lead RDA here at Volterra Dental, where she began working in May 2024. A Long Beach native, she graduated from Cerritos College with degrees in Dental Assisting and Natural Science and completed an internship at USC. Her passion for dentistry stems from her love of patient care and the meaningful relationships built with patients, especially in helping them feel more confident through their smiles. Outside of work, Lily is a proud dog mom to a Maltipoo and an Australian Shepherd, often spending time outdoors or at the dog beach. She’s also a foodie always searching for new places to eat, and enjoys relaxing with a good book on her Kindle.
